On Saturday September 29th Josh Shackley is asking
any pilot with 500 hours or more, flying a standard certified plane (per FAR
91.146 it can't be an Experimental and you must have 500 hours to give charity
rides) if they are willing to donate time and flights to the local colon cancer
support group to raise money for the support of colon cancer survivors and the
families of the victims. One person said it may be possible to rent a plane and
use it to fly the passengers if your plane is too finicky about hot starts or is
simply too expensive to fly. Josh's brother died of colon cancer a few years
ago. Static displays will include the T-28 that recently came to the field.
